Used to love this place but never again, turned the car round to accidently hit a rock and get stuck at night . To be greeted by two people who identified themselves as wardens, accused me of being drunk, ruining their garden and being very very rude and in our faces. Claimed they knew the owner and went beserk. Didn't seem to acknowledge it was an honest mistake and it was my own car that was damaged. The shining of torches in faces and overall aggression was laughably over the top for what was an accident. That interestingly my insurers seem to believe the stones should of been painted white in any event. Rude horrible staff ruining a once beautiful venue If the owner is reading this, you may want to reconsider your hiring of the couple who are in your lodge closest to the house, stating they are acting on your behalf in such an aggressive angry manner. And on another note, one day they may choose to be overly aggressive with someone who may well be drunk and it may not end as well for them
