        If everything goes smoothly, one may find the cottage works just fine. Our booking was made more than 2 years ago, the pandemic closed the lodging and owner refused to refund the payment, while all other lodges in the Lake District refunded our full payment automatically. The travel insurance offered in the owners website wouldnt work with the selected cottages anymore by the time we resumed our trip. The owner even charged extra when we used our previous booking for the same length of stay but the cottages were less than half occupied. Be more aware of this kind of business. The pictures on the website may be overly romanticized for the cottages.
