Boxing Day madness on the park. Must be competition time to see who can go the fastest and in the wrong direction. Cant wait for January when the rental lodges are empty and safety returns. Just stopped another renter coming out of the park driving the wrong way. They said they hadnt seen the signs and that they hadnt been informed about the one way system. It makes you wonder what sort of people this park rents too and more worrying that they were about to drive on a main road. Our so called premium pitch which we selected due to its promised serenity in a peaceful, tranquil sanctuary in beautiful woodland is yet again like the M1. Yet again a distinct lack of management on the busiest weekend. Clearly people who rent on here are too thick to read road signs. One way system still ignored and nobody enforces it. Large mobile home still coming through one way system, makes you wonder how they manage on the road. Hey ho only another 27 days of renting before the end of the holidays. Another weekend of speeding cars and stag parties, what a joy! One way system not working again. Large mobile home just gone past in the wrong direction. Might as well take the no entry signs down as drivers clearly cant follow road signs. Another day another dozen plus strangers walking past and several speeding vehicles, nothing changes Dear Dawn, In response to your reply there seems little point in having another meeting. We have met several times and nothing has changed with regards to speeding and now the influx of strangers. When we first bought we didnt need a passing place on the road outside our lodge nor the need for several additional speed humps. When vehicles ignore the speed limit and hit the humps our lodge vibrates. Its okay having additional wardens but you never see anyone walking or driving around the park in the evenings to help maintain security. It is sad that it has come to this but no action on points raised means I have no alternative. I will continue to post reviews whenever speeding vehicles or strangers go past my lodge. Regardless of peoples actions there appears to be no consequences whether be owners or renters. We have owned on this park for nearly 10 years. The first 8 were excellent but recently the introduction of rental lodges has seen a massive decline in the park. The owner and management are only interested in satisfying the need of the rentals, owners who have invested millions of pounds take a back seat. The lodge we purchased was on a premium pitch but it is more like a formula 1 track now. Nobody enforces the speed limit or controls the strangers walking on to the park. The introduction of a cafe at the entrance to the park is nothing but a disaster for some home owners. There is no attempt to increase security to ensure that existing owners are safe. We bought this as a quiet haven but now it feels like holidaying on the M1

Just had a three night stay at Hares Leap lodge. The lodge was fabulous, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly want for your stay. It was lovely to sit in the hot tub at night, it was so quiet and peaceful and great to see the hares running past. The park is very well maintained with friendly helpful staff. Great for a relaxing quiet break.
