Escrick Park Estate Dog Run

It is very hard to find, I went 2 different ways and was met by various road blocks and signs saying no entry. I would advise going the A19 way only. There are no signs to follow, which would have helped a lot. The dog park was a lot smaller than others that I have used and I would not recommend this to anyone with dogs that may be reactive towards animals. When we went the car park was full of horses and seems to be used by local horseriders for unloading and loading there horse boxes. All in all it was a stressful and underwhelming experience. We ended up going to Wheldrake woods afterwards so that it wasn't a wasted day. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this park unless you have no alternative.

Drove around Escrick looking for the dog run. Asked two people and then finally once back on A19 I missed the turning twice and got stuck in traffic off the A19. Signage is pretty poor, small sign and easily missed. Ended up only having 10 minutes in the small field. Would have given it 4/5 stars if Id found it more easily. Sent them feedback that they need to include written road directions on their confirmation email. Would have made it much easier. Might give it another try but with two other dog fields nearby I might just pass (excuse the pun!). Oh and no shade in the small area so avoid on sunny days.
