Ellerdine Lakes Fishery

Set in a beautiful part of Shropshire with views to die for!! A well run trout fishery with really helpful and friendly staff.

One of the best trout fisheries I've ever been to. Well stocked, very good sized fish and great variety of species. Chap in the well stocked and reasonably priced shop was very helpful and cooked a good breakfast. Am looking forward to visiting again.

Was rough winds,but caught my first tiger trout, well chuffed , great shop ,really nice brecky, tea,or coffee all day for a 1. Staff very helpful and friendly would well recommend trying

Superb fishery with excellent facilities. Upon arrival you are warmly welcomed to a very well stocked shop and upon paying for your fishing ticket can also purchase hot cooked food (which you can then return to the lodge at any point and have it cooked for you!) 1 gets you unlimited self serve tea and coffee for the day. Ticket prices are very reasonable and varied from half day sporting tickets to full day sporting and take home a couple of fish. All lakes are just a short walk from the lodge and casting is largely unobstructed everywhere. Lakes are well stocked with brown, rainbow, tiger and spartic trout. On a final note Ellerdine have a very generous policy of allowing under 16s to fish with a paying adult for free which is fantastic for introducing children to the sport.
