The Violin Academy

I recently took my wife and children out for dinner and luckily caught a small portion of a performance for what looked like a birthday at Rossington Hall. I would just like to say what an absolutely beautiful performance, we were absolutely blown away, such passion, you could see how much she enjoyed playing. I cannot comment on her teaching ability but if it's anything like how she plays then you will be in good hands. Simply wonderful

Alexandra is absolutely lovely and an amazing violin teacher. She goes at your own pace and gives you plenty to work on between sessions (should you want homework!). She clearly explains everything, will show you how the music piece is meant to sound before you attempt to play it and guides you to be able to understand/read the music as well as playing it. She has a lot of good tips for playing violin better and is the best violin teacher I've ever had (I had one at school many years ago that was horrendous!), but she will teach you what you need to know for leisure or if you want to go for assessment at different grades. Definitely recommend!

Alexandra is a fantastic violin teacher! My daughter has been having weekly lessons for nearly 2 years now and loves them. She is learning how to play with confidence. I am so glad we found Alexandra and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

My 10 yr old daughter loves her violin lessons, and looks forward to them every week. Alexandra is always warm and welcoming, we would 100% recommend her
