Valentines Day at Ashlar House!!! Sharon and her team at Ashlar House arranged a wonderful Valentines Day lunch for some residents and their wives. The room was beautifully decorated by Flavia, the tables were adorned with roses, chocolate and a gift for the ladies. A wonderful 3 course meal was served and the whole experience was enjoyed immensely by us all and made the time spent with our loved ones very special. A very big thank you to all the staff at Ashlar who continue to support and help the relatives as well as taking very good care of our loved ones

Found ourselves in the awkward position of needing respite for my mother between Christmas and New Year. The team at Ashlar House were so helpful and accommodating, and took excellent care of her whilst she was with them.

Ashlar house is a happy and vibrant place. Clean and well presented throughout, gorgeous Christmas decorations and all staff were super friendly and happy to be there. All residents seem very happy, well presented and comfortable, and there is a real sense of unity, home and family in this care home. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting.

Interviewed for Administrator - went well was offered the position which I happily accepted - however once I received the contract for 37.5 hrs per week I questioned this because in the interview my hours were agreed at 35hrs - unfortunately the management team that interviewed me went back on their word and said this was not the case - no lunch hour just a 30min break - this was not agreed in my interview - I have no words - lost all trust - so therefore I had no choice but to withdraw my application. The process for New staff takes too long - references and DBS checks - no start date until these are received back and you do all the work to obtain them.

Valentines Day at Ashlar House!!!
Sharon and her team at Ashlar House arranged a wonderful Valentines Day lunch for some residents and their wives.
