Lunch fit for a queen. Well, us two anyway For those who don't know, Head chef Des Sweeney once worked as a chef for the Queen. He has also worked at the House of Lords and on the QE2. Located in the village of Epperstone. You can't miss the pub as there's a taxi outside, which looks like it's retired. For lunch, there's a specials board to select from two courses 18.95. Or an A la carte. We chose Starters Chorizo croquettes (off the specials) Tempura King Prawns 7.25 Mains Chicken Supreme 12.95 Venison Haunch Steak 15.95 Served with a selection of veg. Side order of Parmesan chunky chips Dessert to share. Bread and butter pudding 6.95 The food is all cooked fresh to order. And served the traditional way with the veg on the side. Good home cooked food. Our server Sarah was an absolute. Review helpful please like follow thanks.
