Fearon Place campsite

This is a lovely Campsite family run who work so hard. Beautiful setting and they cant do enough to make your stay perfect. Would highly recommend

I don't often leave review, but as my experience is so markedly different from other reviews here I felt the need... This is a wonderful place. It's exactly as described on Pitchup and the staff all show typical Northern friendliness. The basic facilities are all well kept and clean. When I asked about refilling my water canister I was invited to pop it into the quad bike trailer and it was returned full a few mins later. You don't get that level of service at other sites! Will I be back? - sure thing!

It's very basic Campsite, river, sounds of nature, friendly horses just behind the fence. Sheeps and goats just across the river. Very close to Ennerdale Water Lake with astonishing views and St.Bees where you can find a beautiful beach and great big playground if you have kids. Owners helped us when our car broke down, that was really nice of them.

Just returned home from a weeks stay here, Basic facilities as you'd expect from a pop up site, but very friendly owners who couldn't be more helpful, directed us to nearby pubs. Shops only 10 minutes drive away
