Great stay after our first day of walking the c2c. Warm welcome by mrs Bradley with a roaring fireplace, hangers to dry our wet gear, and freshly brewed tea with home made biscuits. Beds were super comfy, slept like a baby. Interior design fits the farmy vibe of the B&B, but everything clean and fresh. Bathroom and kitchen were to our disposal, being part of the B&B. Mrs Bradley couldn't be more friendly, we had good laughs and she gave us very useful recommendations about the track ahead. Moreover she recommended us restaurants for ordering takeout and made a mean full English breakfast in the morning For the price of 45.- p.p.p.n., it definitely exceeded our expectations. Would recommend and stay again

Stayed here one night camping while doing the coast to coast walk. The gras was perfect for pitching your tent and it's located close to the trail. But the facilities are very very poor. There is a sort of kitchen build to make your food. But it was so dirty that it was like it was part of the stable. Also the shower room and toilet were dirty. I felt like I was in a poor African country. Definitely not acceptable because you pay 12 pounds for a night. More then I paid at any other campsite during my 14 day walk.
