Englefield is one of the last private country estates anywhere near London. Run on happy patriarchal lines by the extended Benyon Family, ever since the Englefields were attainted in the C16! This parish church and the village are in the Deer Park of the great House, with a huge herd! Blissful rector and happy service with two Benyon ladies but not his Lordship

Beautiful Church and a beautiful Location. The grounds are very well looked after and look immaculate. The access to the church is via a private road belonging to Englefield House that is now a Conference Centre. There is no car park at the Church and perhaps better to park the car on public road called The Street, about 500 metres from the Church gate.
