This school is quite charming and a lovely community. We moved 6 months ago from the states and my child attends in year 1. We are very pleased with the level of reading, maths, and core subjects covered. The teachers and staff are very loving and truly care about each student and their success.

I do not recommend at all this school particularly for the kids under 3 years old! Here is my story! My two years old boy was crying when he started the nursery. I think most of the kids, who have strong bonding relations with parents at this age, they do the same! The school never had any settling-in period for my boy. I received no help and no support from the staff for this problem! Their strategy was simply self-soothing! Ignoring the kid, when she/he become exhausted will stop crying (no cuddling no warmness at all)! Self-soothing is not recommended and supported by research for this age (I am a researcher at Oxford University and have done much research for this problem in kids). When I started to use my own plan and stay with him for a limited time per day, the staff started to complain about it and particularly the head teacher had extremely rude behavior to me! My boy stayed only 10 days in the school in the first month and he was very upset all the time. With no improvement, we decided to decline the offer. However given this difficult situation, the school charged us fully for the first month (only 10 days each day only 3-4 hours attending in the morning) and fully for the second month as well (without attending at all the school).

Very charming little school and a very active community. This seems to be the best primary school in the area regardless of ofstead reports. The children are very happy and at that age it is so much more important to be happy and playing than it is to be buried in examinations.
