The Old Bakery, Long Street

An idyllic location with a river at the bottom of the garden. The accommodation is perfect, very comfortable, almost a home from home, with lovely extra touches - fresh flowers, slices of cake and milk in the fridge. Full English breakfast provided, lovely to eat it sat outside on the patio with the view of the garden, weather permitting, or if not, in Amanda's beautiful kitchen. Excellent value for money. Amanda is very welcoming and friendly. Arrived as strangers and left as friends. Very good pub opposite with real ales and excellent food. We will definitely be back. Ruth & Steve Evans, Derbyshire.

We had such a nice time here with Amanda. She was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, has kept the annex to a well maintained standard, and has a wonderfully relaxing garden with a stream running alongside. We arrived to a swan sailing down the river and apparently kingfishers and otters can be seen sometimes too! Breakfast was perfect, and the home is situated just across the road from an award-winning pub. We're hoping to find ourselves in this area again just to pay another visit!
