London Tours by Taxi

We took the full day tour of London with Adrian in his immaculate Black cab. He showed us so much of the city of London. Perfect timing and position to watch the changing of the guards. Adrian was the perfect guide as he listened to what we wanted to see and delivered everything. He is a great person to talk to and we appreciated his humour and quick wit. We like to research and use local independent guides when we travel. Adrian was very highly rated and recommended and he met all our expectations. My husband really got a kick out of all the funny nicknames of the skyscrapers that the locals use. Make sure you see the Gherkin, Cheese Grater and The walky/talky building. Also a big thank you for taking us to a local pub for the best fish & chips and meat pies!

I was very fortunate to have shared a trip to London/Liverpool with my husband and best friend. (unfortunately due to health reasons her husband couldn't come) There were many tours of London that I considered before leaving the US. Then I found London Tours by Taxi with Adrian. When I first contacted him by email. he responded very promptly and arrangements were made. When the time for our trip was finally here, Adrian picked us up from our hotel in a real London taxi! It was an all day tour and the word "AMAZING" doesn't even begin to describe our experience!! From experiencing the changing of the guard (much more involved than what we've seen on TV) Westminster Abbey, and SO much more! Adrian's knowledge of English history and London sites made the whole experience come to life for us! This was a trip of a lifetime for us. and I hope to return one day to London and would book this same tour with, Adrian in a heartbeat!!!

Adrian was beyond amazing. I can't say enough good things and if I could give 10 stars I would. I had a 7 hour layover in London and being that I never been I thought I would do a quick tour just to get a taste of this beautiful city. Before I even booked Adrian gave me the great tip of taking the Heathrow Express from Heathrow to Paddington to save time and also to get more time with him on the tour. It was great advise and I was very pleased. Getting to paddington he was waiting for me with a small sign with my name. He said hello and was very sweet and friendly. The car was nice, it was new, clean and with ac. We get underway and right away he starts telling me about the history and we start heading to all the different sights. We stopped a few places where we could and got out of the car, took some pictures the whole time being very attentive and explaining everything which I very much appreciated it! Adrian is just a book of knowledge. He knew little bits and pieces of history of every where we were passing by and I really liked that. I looooved listening to all the history and little facts about the places. He had a little sense of humor as well which was great! Made the trip very fun! I had an amazing time! He planned all the stops perfectly and at the end he dropped me off at Paddington right on time so that I could head back to the airport. I was very thankful for the little tour he did with me and can't wait to be back in London one day! I did promise I would be back with my husband and with tons of time so I can do another tour with him, this time a longer one! So I will definitely be back again and will definitely use his services again! Thank you again Adrian, I had a wonderful time and you were beyond amazing!!

In retrospect, I would have capped our tour at between 3-4 hours, but Adrian had our group of six for 6 hours. He took us all around town and we saw a rooftop garden with views for miles, the Globe theatre, Trafalgar square, parliament, palaces, residences, clubs, shops, museums, churches, Roman ruins, gardens, memorials, statues ... you get the idea. It was a lot to pack in but Adrian did an amazing job. My favorite part of the tour was learning the stories behind common sayings like "one more for the road" et cetera. We would definitely look Adrian up again for our next trip to London.
