Ridgeway Surgery

This is the worst surgery in the world. The receptionist is rude beyond belief and the gps done care.moving my business to the Mount.

Sadly after covid it has got worst. Sadly all new staff on the reception who sometimes don't know what they are doing. I was called at 350 asking to come for 4 o'clock appointment today. Waited for 55 minutes eventually didn't even bother to see the doctor.. so unhappy walked out of the surgery.

Ridgeway surgery have been asked on at least 20 occasions over the last 13 months to provide my medical records to a company who were going to provide me with life insurance and critical illness as I have two young daughters. Even after multiple phone calls, emails and letters they have refused. After a medical emergency I'm now uninsurable.. if someone had taken 10 minutes to send my records I would be getting support now. I'm not. Equally, if I do get sick we have no financial support. This is all because they refused a simple request on multiple occasions: when I questioned why they hadn't done it the answer was "it's not our priority". Disgusting service..

Impossible to make an appointment to see a GP since the pandemic, even when yu have been asked by the surgery to make an appointment

Exceptionally good team at the ridgeway, I'm sorry that a lot of other reviewers had a bad experience, but for us we have been treated very efficiently and effectively. The staff were very understanding and patient with us, which was extremely reassuring.
