I have seen Ricky for several different injuries over the last few years. Ricky is always professional, well informed, super smart and constructive, he is able to unpick the root cause to a problem and has always been able to patch me up when things have gone wrong but also help me with preventative strategies to get me back out there and keep me enjoying the life style I love. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him.

Ricky is a brilliant physio. Treats the person, takes time to understand the complete impact of the injury or issue and focuses entirely on how to ensure you get well again. Happy to also give realistic and achievable follow on work to ensure you get back to normal. I saw him with absolute chronic back pain and Im now upright and operating as normal! Thoroughly recommend.

Whilst recovering from a nasty wrist fracture which necessitated the insertion of a metal plate, I was struggling to regain the mobility in my hand and wrist. Several local friends recommended the same physio - Ricky! They had all been treated by him and had experienced nothing but good results. I had been told that the break would have exacerbated the effects of existing arthritis in my joints. Ricky was able to mobilise my hand and also my shoulder, and was able to give me a series of exercises to continue the improvement. He explained very clearly the reasons for my discomfort but was very encouraging. Over a period of three months, the strength and mobility of both hand and shoulder have improved markedly. Ricky has a very friendly personality, and I have been very impressed by the efficiency of his practice. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I whole-heartedly endorse and recommend Ricky as a physio. He has been my physio of choice for the last eleven years and has attended to my spectrum of running, orienteering and cycling injuries over this period. I first met Ricky at the end of 2011 just before I had a left knee arthroscopy: he provided pre-op support, and then managed my post-op recovery with hands-on treatment and a broad exercise regime. Once I was back into running and orienteering, he supported me through my various calf and hamstring tears. In 2017, I needed a right knee arthroscopy, but then a nasty knee twist meant that I needed to stop running.... and took up cycling. Ricky has been invaluable in providing physio support and guidance to protect my knees from the effect of 10+ hours of cycling a week. He also managed my recuperation following a cycling race accident in 2019 in which I fractured my left and right pelvis. Why would I recommend Ricky? He really understands human anatomy and sports injuries; administers effective (but can be painful!) hands-on physio; really understands the need for athletes to get back into training / competing as soon as possible (but not too soon); provides tailored exercise regimes (particularly important for me with my problematic knees); is very conscientious; and provides wise advice. He will go the extra mile for his patients.

Ive used Rickys services for various one off injurys over the years and an underlying back problem ..but in recent times required physio for post surgery for ligament tears in both knee and shoulder. The fact speak for themselves: Im fully recovered for one and well on the way with the other, having had the last surgery 7 months ago. For me, its my trust in him underpinned by his extensive knowledge of the human anatomy. He wont suggest a session if he thinks you dont need it. Hes friendly, approachable & will explain things in a way which helps you understand why you have to practice the exercises he suggests. He will do his best to fit you in when your in your greatest need. The consultants who have performed surgery on me rate him highly & they too have no hesitation in recommending Ricky. If there were six stars available he would get six and Im not an individual who regularly performs review but this guy deserves it because hes works hard to get the results your looking for. Patients just need to put the effort in & Ricky will support you all the way to get to your target assuming its achievable.
