Broughton Peter

We used Peter to strip out and fit a new bathroom ensuite following a friend's recommendation and having inspected his previous work. Once finished we noticed an initial eight (8) separate flaws with the installation, including misalignment of floor tiles, uneven wall tiles on a newly skimmed wall, a gap between shower tray and floor into which water could flow and cause damage, misalignment of bathroom cabinet furniture, door scraping floor tiles after rehanging, unsecured tile edging through insufficient application of adhesive, uneven application of sealant, application of sealant over dirty surface causing it to fail. After Peter was called back to correct these we noticed further issues; when we tried out the shower it sloshed out water from the bottom of the door where the door seal and now from the side glass panel where sealing wasn't installed or applied correctly. Furthermore the realigned bathroom cabinet was jutting out at the front from the adjacent cabinet and we also noticed a chipped tile after wiping off a bit of grout covering the chip. In conclusion the quality of the finish was poor and we have had personally to correct the fundamental flaws which one would certainly not expect of a qualified and experienced plumber and cannot recommend Peter for bathroom suite installations.
