DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY Had the worst renting experience with Eastwoods possible - On initial viewing of a flat we were promised a new shower and that the furniture in the flat was fine to be removed - The day before we were due to move in we received a phone call saying the current tenants hadn't left the property yet so our move in date was to be pushed back a month - luckily we could live at family homes but had this not been available we would have nowhere to live. During our entire tenancy all our emails and calls were hugely ignored even when they were regarding major issues - such a radiator being constantly on that couldn't be turned off - This cost us hugely as well as the promises made upon viewings never seen through - We received a phone call one day to say we had one month to leave as the landlord had an emergency and needed to move back in - Due to the COVID19 new laws one month was an illegal minimum notice to give us and we never received formal notice. Throughout our whole tenancy our radiator costs added up to over 900 which nothing was done to rectify this - however the day after we moved out I got a phone call in error from a contractor asking if he could come round to fix this now! This means it was an easy fix for them they just have no care for their tenants. We had to rush to move out as they wouldn't budge on the notice term as the landlord needed the property - however only 2 months after we left the property is now back up for rent! - Proving our tenancy was terminated early for no need and a complete lack of care for tenants AVOID AT ALL COSTS
