The only issue was the air conditioning was faulty. Everytime I would turn it on it would verge between burbling like a backed up fridge or making a ringing din noise very similar to a tinnitus sound. It disturbed me falling asleep at 11.30pm and it woke me up at 6am. For a hotel offering a 12pm check out being awake six hours in advance is indeed overkill.
The staff were friendly and very kind and helpful. Would stay again if rooms could be fixed.
