        A lovely place to have a lovely meal & local beers & dog friendly but you maybe booked it in advance as it was very busy & staff very friendly

        We went on a Saturday Bank Holiday evening and forgot to book. The landlady still managed to get us a table and is a very happy helpful lady. We had two starters tempura prawns and cod bites. Follwed by pork fillet in mushroom sauce and steak and sle pie. Teo beers two glasses sauvignon blanc and it obnly came to 65. The chef came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. Nice touch thos is a local pub well used with a seperate resturant area. Definitely worth a try dhould you visit Northumberland tasty and well priced

        Very welcoming, the landlady and staff are second to none with great food, real ales and wine its a perfect pub which is getting harder to find.
