Stayed at these cottages with friends over new year and had a fantastic time. The cottages are in a great location near a number of beaches and golf courses, ideal for exploring the beautiful coastline. The cottages themselves were clean, spacious and contained everything we needed to cook our own meals. They were very toasty with the central heating on but there is also a log burner for those who like a fire on an evening. The wifi worked perfectly and there is a large tv and comfy sofas for relaxing. Whilst the train line is close by, we were never bothered by any noise thanks to the work the owners have done to shield properties at the back. All in all, highly recommended and I cant wait to go back!!!

Our fault. We didn't read enough of the blurb and so the lack of wash machine or room to swing a cat a shock. However the lack of a shed to put our bikes was not our mistake and an annoying disappointment. And the trains did not annoy us even when the whole house shook every fifteen minutes. We had read that warning. What it did not say was that there is a 10 second Siren that goes off as a warning each time!!!

Nice airy light vlean property, well furnished and equipped we stayed for a wedk and really enjoyed it. Very handy for all of Northumberland. O.k. so the trains go past but you really wouldn't notice it with the windows closed. They stop about 11.00 and restart about 6.30 (except for the night sleeper) after the first night no problem.
