This place is run by a single person who has built a business on great knowledge and great service. Very fair pricing and even reduced my bill when the job was easier than he thought it would be. For some reason my review of EMS did not get published. That problem was undoubtedly my fault. As I was so satisfied, I will have to try again. My battery was 14 years old and completely gave up several weeks ago. I managed to get to EMS. Not even 20 minutes after my arrival, the car had a new battery. Super friendly service, good price and, given the very awkward place where the battery is, obviously a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic. The combination of excellent customer service, workmanship, price and the feeling that you can trust them, means that I will go back whe my car needs a service, for its MOT, or if I have a problem with my car. I'm not surprised that almost all other reviews show that EMS deserve five stars.

I have always hated using garages being an ex mechanic. But knowing Andy from college many moons ago I know my car is in safe honest hands and have no issues handing over the keys. Prompt service, honest pricing and service/work slots available within great lead times. I would never use main dealer..... I would however recommend Andy any day of the week.
