        Rooms are in very bad state . Old furniture old carpets and the decor is peeling away. Some rooms dont have ensuite bathroom and the room could cost bout 80 just for 1 night. That is a disgrace.The service that is only in morning when having breakfast. When you arrive in afternoon there is no member of staff to greet you. It has health and safety issues. I definitely do not recommend staying here. Lack of organisation by the management and staff. Keep safe everyone and save your money. Loads other hotels & b n b in ely.

        Despite mixed reviews, My Mum and I have found Castle Lodge Hotel adequate for our needs. Good quality bedrooms and shared Bathrooms. Low headroom, but were advised when booking. Good Breakfast. Despite minimal staff, (no reception, but Cook comes for breakfasts. And the location is ideal for visiting attractions including Ely Cathedral and museums. Lovely restaurants within walking distance.
