        I had a bit of a dilemma with our fire and I rang Ian to see if he could have a look at the problem, he fitted us into his busy work schedule because he didn't want us to go without a fire in the recent cold snap. Ian came and swept our chimney for the first time and to be honest (in a few years), he gave me some good advice on how to look after the fire and to keep it running at peak performance (it's not just about chucking the wood in the burner). I will be definitely using Ian again and I will be booking him in early spring time, to say I basically found Ian and Chimney Sweep York blindly I'm really happy and I would recommend him to anyone.         Ian is a very skilled and thorough sweep. I have a woodburner and have used Ian for a couple of years now, he does a good job on the chimney sweeping and the burner always looks better for a bit of sprucing up. He's reliable and prices are competitive, would absolutely recommend.
