I was given an appointment for today at 9:30 and was told it was face to face at the time of booking. 10 minutes before the appointment, I got a phone call from GP Dr Chawla. However, as I
was on another phone
call, I couldn't answer
the phone. Got a second phone call from the GP a few seconds after. I was still dealing with another matter on the phone so couldn't answer. Dr Chawla then sent a text saying they couldn't reach me and I had to rebook my appointment. As when I got the appointment I was said it was face to face I came to the surgery anyways. Despite saying that I had serious concerns about my health, I was told by the receptionist that the next appointment would be on one month time!
I was appalled as I really need to see the GP.
Before coming to the surgery today, I telephoned to clarify I had requested an in person appointment, which was booked for 9:30 today. I had the misfortune to speak to an impolite and uneducated male receptionist. He was shouty on the phone and came across as someone who shouldn't be working with the public. He talked over me in a loud voice and didn't give me a chance to talk. Awful indeed! I'm sure that this male 'receptionist' gave me a face to face appointment when I called the surgery to book today's appointment. I'm requesting the recording of that call as I'm sure, the appointment was face to face.
So now I was given an appointment for one month later.
I asked the name of the manager to make a complaint but the receptionist appeared very reluctant to give me this information.
Awfully inadequate service, poor trained receptionists that seem to dislike their work and are quite ignorant.
