The Cuckoo Lane Practice

Dr. Kyriaki Sonidou is so rude towards patient and very unprofessional . Please Avoid! Everyone else at Cuckoo lane practice are kind and lovely. I revised my review to 4 star, 1 star for Dr. Sonidou, 5 star for the rest of team. I had a blood test with Nurse associate Christopher shaw this morning. He is so kind, gentle, professional. Definitely worth the 5 star

Ive been here a few months and I must say so far so good . I feel like Im listened to and involved in decisions pertaining to my care which is important to me as a patient (my previous GPs were a far cry from that ) I know the system is within the nhs is far from perfect but at cuckoo lane practice they clearly try their best within this frame work plus everyone is very polite

Cuckoo Lane Practice is an abominable GP. Please for the love of god do not sign up for these people or attend the practice. I was told yesterday by the gp that there were medications waiting for me at my pharmacy, which was not true. The pharmacy, not the gp, told me theyd call me within 3 - 4. They called me an hour after, when I was at work, extremely busy, and then didnt try again until the surgery had already closed. When I called today to try and fix this, they told me there was nothing they could do but book me into another practice. I am going to go into withdrawal because of these people and their negligence. I had no communication from the practice for months regarding my medication, and then they suddenly stopped issuing it, and when I called, they blamed me, and insisting it was my fault for not keeping in touch with them. My pharmacy had tried to contact them for weeks regarding it, as they were very understanding of my hectic work schedule. My gp stopped issuing me my meds, allowing me to go into withdrawal, and then set an appointment to a week later where I didnt have enough meds to see me through. Their complaints page on their website is also missing, probably because so many people were issuing complaints. I dont know anyone who doesnt have an issue with this awful place. I cannot express how little these people care about you and your health. The doctors are utterly disrespectful and take no kinds of responsibility for their lack of communication and care. The receptionists are tired and frustrated. At no point did I feel cared for by my practice, or like they wanted to help.

I have always found the surgery helpful with my queries and the staff are nice.
