Visited the Eltham branch of Nationwide BS this morning to hand in some documents. There was no one on the floor to assist\guide so I waited in the "waiting area" for approx 20mins, still not a member of staff in sight, looks like they were all hiding...apart from the 2 staff at the tills serving the rapidly growing queue, as people in the queue had that impatient look about them. I felt sorry for the old lady who was in that queue when I arrived, who eventually went and sat down just before I gave up and left! NBS, you failed today.

Used this branch after opening an account recently. However unlike my previous bank HSBC this was a breath of fresh air. Basically, really nice branch, very smooth interaction with staff and I was able to do what i needed to in branch. After getting fed up with all the branches HSBC have closed recently and the poor service in open ones most of the time i had to switch. It's amazing this is a bank that does banking and does not close tills whenever they feel like and tell you to use a Post Office for your banking. Very happy I moved and now to move my business account in the near future. Plus its so much closer to my home as well. A*

Due to covid restrictions the queue to enter the bank can be as long as one hour long. Avoid busy times, especially in the mornings
