    More than one month since I raised the dispute because my landlord hasn't given back the security deposit without providing any reason, but not a single update from this so called protection scheme. The sent box are full of mails to MyDeposits now!!

    Would give zero stars if possible. Previous tenant trashed our property. Causes thousands of pounds of damage. MyDeposits took three months to even look at the case, before awarding the tenant 25% of their deposit back. It was clear from their write up report that they didn't even read the check-out report supplied as evidence and of course there's no recourse for a complaint. Avoid avoid avoid.

    The time frames this company uses are inexcusable. It took nearly 5 months from moving out to getting my deposit back, and I did my part as soon as I could (generally immediately) at each step. It's almost impossible to get an update or a response at any point. IMO this is all stacked in the landlords favour, they know if tenants need the money soon, they will just give up and accept deductions. As a tenant, avoid.

    Not even worthy of a star. Absolutely atrocious service / in fact they are a 5 star diss - service. Do not use them as they are totally 150% behind the landlords.

    Had very poor experience with mydeposit as a landlord. Inspite of acknowledging the evidence of damages caused by misuse, adjudicator decided to reimburse just small percentage of the claim and major chunk to be considered as wear and tear. And no idea of how it has been worked out. It didn't seem to be professional at all.
