Sam Tyres closed down due to tenancy issues with landlord wanting to sell up the premises but Google info has not yet caught up. The business closed down around April 2017. Sam is the original highly knowledgeable vehicle servicing owner and most helpful locally well known guy who charged excellent negotiable prices in order to please customers at a fair price. Unfortunately the signs remained up outside and bad reviews aimed at the newcomer were mixed up with him but the date remains most significant in distinguishing. Recently, Sam himself was driving through the area and encountered a puncture and almost out of curiosity attended the elstree tyre place he previously managed and ran. The current owner tried to scam him too claiming he needed a new tyre as his was beyond repair and quoted him accordingly. Sam confronted him, explained who he was and that the new owner was completely dishonest, unfit for purpose and cheating people deliberately and the repair cost he charged should be 5. Please take note and do not be scammed.

Very clean unusually but this only positive. Overpriced. 15 labour for exchange 1 tyre is above average price. I done 4. No discount, but on the billboard outside they advertised discount for mini cabs and taxi. They fitted all tyres without balancing at all !!!!! Now I have huge vibrations on motorway. Avoid this place
