Davidsons Debt Recovery Services Ltd

I engaged the services of Davidsons Debt Recovery more than a year ago. I had a minor debt to have collected with an uncooperative client. I called up Davidsons to get a sense of the market, they sounded reliable and for some reason I was influenced by their single 5* rating on Google Reviews. I spoke to someone called Mahesh, Mahesh was an excellent salesman and very persistent. He tried to get me to buy 100 debt collection letters for 700 something I was assured was a good deal and only available if I bought right now. I didn't buy, but Mahesh rang me up several times a week chasing me up on our conversation. After what must have been 10 calls, I gave in and I bought a single letter, for 200, hoping to test it out figuring that if he is 1/10 as persistent with my debtors as he is with me this should be collected by the end of the day. Ultimately he got his fee and I got nothing back for my 200. I think it was an absolute waste of time and money using Davidsons. They are VERY hard selling, so think twice about picking up the phone to them because they are good at calling you back. I would not recommend using Davidsons, they vastly overstated the effectiveness of their service and I was left deflated and without my debt collected. Patrick Rea
