It looks like I'm not the only one that has experienced poor service following a noise complaint from this hotel. The DoubleTree hosted a party on Sunday 30th April which did not finish until 11.40pm. We were told it would end at 10pm and we were offered 2 free drinks. The reception team continuously lied when I enquired about the finish time. Our room was directly above the party room and the noise from the soundsystem was unacceptable. We had two children with us and they could not sleep. What made matters worse is that the room had no air conditioning so we had to have a window open to let air into a stuffy, hot and uncomfortable room not suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. They should have moved us to another room. Had that happened I would not have been compelled to write this review. The breakfast is great but some of the dinner options are terrible, most notably the fish & chips at 18. Truly awful fish. This was a birthday gift for my daughters. We had travelled from Scotland for the Warner Bros studio tour. The studio tour was great, the hotel stay however was very disappointing.

Great hotel but odd location. Really busy area but away from St Alban's so a bit of a trek. Rooms: Great room. Spacious and nice clean bathroom
