I had the pleasure of purchasing my recent Q2 from Bedford Audi. This is my 3rd Audi car and I cannot fault the service received from Nick Thomatos and Michael White. From my initial call with Nick to understand what I am looking to getting my keys over the weekend amazing from Michael!! Professional and lovely experience. I would definitely buy from Bedford Audi again. Thank you again guys for your help and advice is was very much appreciated!

I had a terrible experience with Bedford Audi. I initially booked my car on the 12th of April. I dropped me car there and havent heard from them the whole day. When I called at around 5 pm. The gentleman tried to come up with an excuse but it was clear that nobody has touched the car for the whole day. They then made me pay for what they called initial investigation. What initial investigation takes a full day and does not even reach a diagnostic. I wasnt happy yet I paid and booked the car again for the 2nd of May. Again no contact of whatsoever the whole day until around 5pm when I received a voice call. I returned the call and a lady answered. She seemed in a hurry or not interested Im not quite sure. She told me my car needs some parts replaced and I said okay go ahead please and order it and I need to know when should I expect the car back. The next day again no calls and when I called around 11 am I was told they were not aware of my last evening call and nothing has been ordered. By that time I was very upset and asked to speak to the manager. The call handler put me through to the same lady from yesterday who instead of apologising was very rude argumentative and almost called me a liar. She totally denied that I had asked her to order the parts. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no manager is around but they will ask them to give me call. And ofcourse no call was made. The whole experience is frustratingly unprofessional. For you guys its just another car. For me its my whole life that turned upside down having to rely on taxis and take an emergency leave from work as I cannot commute ( I work in another town and transport between the 2 is awful). Im still waiting for my car and for that call. With hindsight, I would have definitely avoided that place.

After having previously bad experience from another Audi garage on aftersales I stopped using Audi to service my vehicle. However, I decided to give Audi another try not only take out on of there all in service plans but also tried a further afield dealer in Bedford. I arrived for my 08:30 while you wait appointment to not only be able to park with ease straight away (very rare at some sites) but also, I must say the experience from the entrance was 5 stars when welcomed by a receptionist who was more than welcome to help. Offered me a tea or coffee whilst I waited for the afterales team to come and book me in. Jess from aftersales soon come over and welcomed me with a smile and explained the work that will be done whilst there and outlined the time frame for collection as I was a waiting appointment. When the vehicle was ready again Jess approached with a smile and all in the agreed time frame and ensured everything was okay and showed me to my vehicle after it was shining again having the free wash and vac. I must say I'm not one to write reviews but I couldn't not do one this time. The reception team, Jess in aftersales @ bedford Hitchin was amazing. Jess does her job well, whatever the stress goes on she keeps it behind close doors and does not show this to the customers. Having been in the trade myself previously I will say Jess is a credit to your business and after this experience I will continue to take my business to Bedford Audi for aftersales. You never know I may try your sales team one day. Please pass this feedback on to whoever can praise Jess and the reception team. Thank you so much for an enjoyment experience. The site is worth every 5 stars here!

On the 6th March I made an enquiry about an S5, the service to start with from John in sales was great, once I then placed a deposit on the the car it all went down hill, no communication, no reply to emails and telephone calls. The car had to go in the workshop for prep as it had just been taken in on part exchange. A collection date was agreed and a train ticket was booked at over 100. Within 24 hours I received a call from John stating it will not be ready on the agreed collection date due to a 24 hour update. Somehow this pushed the date back 9 days! After many phone calls and emails to management (Nick Thomatos) who was even more unhelpful than the Salesman I then got out of them that the car has an oil leak which was the delay! When I asked why this had been kept quiet from me rather than being honest I was not given an answer. On 24/03/2023 I took delivery of, the Audi S5. The car had not been valeted and absolutely stunk of cigarettes with what looks like cigarette burn damage on the drivers seat which obviously was not shown to be in pictures or the walk around video! On 26/03/2023) I discovered that it was not of satisfactory quality: with a red warning light intermittently displaying on the dash displaying (Coolant temperature too high, let engine run with vehicle stationary) Audi Assistance came out and could not find any stored fault codes and advised to book in with a main dealer. To this day the fault is still displaying intermittently. On 05/04/2023 the vehicle went in to Audi Portsmouth for a diagnostic in to this fault, again they are saying no faults codes are stored relating to this warning light (so there is an underlined fault somewhere) They were also asked to look in to the exhaust being loud on start up on efficiency mode and said there is a stored fault for this and it will require further investigation. The radio looses all signal when the heated rear window is on, I was also advised this would need to be looked in to. The N/S/R outer window sill had been pulled down in to the door some how, they have pulled it out and have said the sill needs replacing to prevent water ingression. (Bedford Audis response to this was its a used car) With the car being used or not I do not expect a fault that could cause water ingresses! They also picked up the car has potentially 2 oil leaks, one from the engine and possible gearbox as oil is collecting in the V of the engine. When driving home from work today the car flagged up with another error message on the dash stating Audi Pre Sense Fault. This has been the final straw for me and I have not lost all trust in this vehicle and Bedford Audi. I enquired about returning the car for a full refund and was told I will have to pay 1.50+VAT per mile that I have put on the car! This is unbelievable when I have been sold a car that is not fit for the road.
