We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge! We in advance were a bit reserved about the expected privacy. The cottage is attached to the owners house. But there was no need for worries. The entrance (and terrace and parking) is at a different side so our dog had no unnecessary triggers to defend his temporary home nor did we feel overlooked. The Lodge is very light, airy and above all clean. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. Really good beds! The kitchen area is small and so is the dining space. I really like good lightning above a table and the workspace in the kitchen. I can't complain about the main lights. However I would have liked to have one more lamp for 'ambiance' so we could have turned the main light of while watching the telly. The appliances and utensils are in good order. I always prefer a washing machine above a dishwasher and would always use the washing machine. But this time I didn't because it had no dryer and I didn't want the risk to need drying de wet towels and clothes in the cottage. Since we were only staying for a week we simply packed more. 'Problem' solved. The master bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor. On the second floor are two single beds in separate rooms (but without a door). This didn't matter to us, but could be an issue for other people. Next to the drive is a public footpath, which was very convenient for the short walks with our dog. Other than those walks we explored the region mainly further away. We e.g. went to the Malverns, Worcester, Warwick and to several National Trust properties. I certainly would recommend this property, as I said before: we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

We spent a long weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lodge is on the outskirts of the pretty village of Elmley Castle and is a short walk along broad grass verges to the village and well regarded pub. Takeaways, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets are all within a few mile drive at nearby Pershore. Footpath walks are plentiful right from the property. Upon arrival the lodge was spotlessly clean and furnished in a pleasant modern style. A welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, dog treats and heavenly fresh baked bread were waiting for us. The kitchen area is fairly well equipped for a short stay. There is a fridge with an icebox but no freezer. We were aware of this so it wasnt a problem but if we were staying longer we would have had to be a touch more creative on the catering side. There is also a modern large capacity washing machine but not a drier. Once again not a problem as the weather was kind to us. We would highly recommend this property as a perfect base to explore the surrounding beautiful countryside. Many thanks to Andrew and Emma for our stay
