Weve just had such a lovely weekend at the lime treehouse for my birthday, and we will definitely book again in the future. The lime treehouse was set back and very private, overlooking the most beautiful scenery. So peaceful and picturesque, actually better than the pictures can portray. It was well stocked with all the amenities you needed, and the welcome basket was such a lovely touch. The only negative came when it was time to leave, as I really didnt want to! The fairy lights at night created such a warming glow. I could have stayed forever :) thank you for making my birthday weekend special and hopefully well be back soon! Rachael & John

A magical experience in the midst of nature. Very comfortable, Richard and Emma went all out. Would thoroughly recommend for a weekend away. - great pre-visit instructions, made it easy to find - easy parking - great covid precautions - hot tub on the deck was sublime - beautifully and thoughtfully decorated - log fire kept us lovely and toasty despite a storm brewing outside - kitchen was equipped with everything you might need (including milk, butter, jam) and some extra goodies in the fridge too... plus a gorgeous hamper of snacks (cookies, hot chocolate, granola, fruits) - such comfortable beds We didn't use the WiFi but noticed that it is available. Can't fault a thing!!

We recently stayed in Lime treehouse and had a very disappointing stay. I had booked the stay as a surprise break for my family and had not told them where we were going. I booked it for the treehouse, but mainly for the hot tub, overlooking the fields. It had been a stressful couple of years and I couldnt wait too sit and relax in the hot tub on the afternoon of our arrival. When we were already on our way I received, a very blas, text message from Emma and Richard telling me that the hot tub had experienced some issues and that it would not be available to use until the following day. We spoke on the phone and when I questioned further, the story seemed to change a number of times. It turned out that the hot tub had been emptied by the cleaner and not refilled. I explained my dissatisfaction and explained that the hot tub was one of the main reasons I had booked with them in the first place. They did not seem concerned and simply told me that this hardly ever happens and it just so happens that we are away and we were not made aware. We continued our journey and arrived just slightly before check in time. On our arrival we were confronted with Emmas mum and brother frantically trying to fill the hot tub, whilst telling me that it was lambing season and they could have done without it. I asked if we could go in as we were a little early and I was told that the treehouse was ready so we went inside. We tried to settle in whilst all of this was going on outside and then I noticed empty toiletries left behind by the previous occupants. This was very concerning, if this hadnt been noticed, what else hadnt been done! I contacted Emma and Richard via email, who blamed me for turning up early (15 whole minutes) and that this was the reason for the empty toiletries still being inside, apparently this would have been noticed in the 15 minutes. They also said that they didnt understand why I would turn up early when I was aware of the hot tub situation. The simple fact was that we were already on our way, plus I dont see why I should have to explain getting to my accommodation on time when I have paid to do so. I paid for, what I would consider to be premium accommodation, at over 300 a night, yet one of the main facilities was not working and the property hadnt been cleaned fully. I asked for money back and was offered a very measly amount by Emma and Richard, which I told them I was not happy with. They then proceeded to tell me, in their emails, that their skiing holiday had been ruined and they would not be going away again for a long time. They refused to accept any responsibility for what had happened and decided that the hot tub was not the most important part of the stay and so they would not compensate more. It is not for them to decide what is important to the consumer. I had paid for a service and they didnt deliver I work in the services industry also and my customer experience is the most important thing to me, I want them to be happy. Emma and Richard dont seem to share this viewpoint, even though they continually said in their emails it is really important to us that you are happy that was absolute rubbish, they did nothing to try and make me happy. Their emails were dismissive, blaming and their service completely unprofessional. I will not be returning unfortunately
