Dreadful company and one of the best things that happened to it was the Master Franchisor in the US taking away their license!! Carole (or Carol as she goes by both for her limited company's) is just rudeness personified, and in truth, one of the last people you would want to come across when you are grieving! Overpriced and far from value for money - now she's gone onto some other marketing business - God help their members (if they get any). The Grief Recovery Method Group Program that I attended earlier this year has changed my outlook on life and had such a positive impact I went to on to train very quickly, I qualified as a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist two weeks later. The program has scientific evidence that is benefits grievers, I can vouch from Personal Experience, It Works. I had so many lightbulb moments during my own program and training. I now understand my beliefs and behaviours so much better. I now realise I've been walking around my whole life weighed down by grief and I didn't even know it. I feel more positive in life than before and better equipped for when the life hits again with its triggers, memories , further events.

In the autumn of 2013, my mother was killed in a car crash. This devastating loss was followed by the end of my career and long-term relationship. For years I struggled. I felt I would never find joy in my life again. I tried different types of counselling and books, which all helped me understand a bit better the thoughts going around in my head. But it was only when I did the Grief Recovery Method course, that I began to engage deeply with my emotions, and move towards living my life again. I can now talk about the people and experiences I have lost, with love in my heart, instead of pain. As I continue to work with the tools, I find out more about myself, and develop a deeper sense of joy. Yes, I know that sounds a bit cheesy, but its true. Were all different, so our experiences and the way we deal with them are different too. But I have no doubt that almost anyone who does this course will benefit, no matter what losses they have experienced.

I took this course at the end of last year and can truly say it has changed many aspects of my personal and professional life. Beautifully delivered to allow an understanding of my losses which in turn has helped me support others with theirs. I work in social care and as a trainee psychotherapist. This course offers a different avenue (or at least did for me!) To explore losses of all kinds and has helped me develop a language for feelings a didn't have one for. I've recommended this literally to everueve I know!

My sister died suddenly at the end of 2013, I had never felt anything like this 'feeling' in my life - I had no idea where to start. I knew I needed something/somemone but no idea what or who. I found a very special lady by the name of Carole Henderson - Grief Recovery UK. I was able to not only work through the loss of my sister but other losses in my life that I had no idea were having such an impact on me both mentally and physically. With her caring, gentle manner Carole guided me through my losses, giving me the ability to remember my memories with happiness and to move forward with my life. So much so that I was left with such a passion that I knew I really wanted to be able to reach out and help other people with their losses. I trained to become a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist in 2018, this was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The training is just on another level. I will always recommend the Grief Recovery Programme for those needing support with their grief. It really does make a difference and has completely changed my life. I thank you Carole with all my heart x
