        Nice trip out to The mere in Ellesmere this afternoon, loads of people enjoying walks, and feeding the ducks and geese. Had a lovely hot chocolate at the end of our trip from the mere side kiosk, lovely.

        Most beautiful mere with walks through the wood, a children's playground, promenade with seating, ice cream sales and cafe/restaurant. There's also a fascinating sculpture trail.
