Lovely countryside for walks/runs etc. Amazing views over from the hilltop by the monument. Somewhat a victim of its own success, the carpark is often rammed on sunny days and there is quite a bit of erosion in places near the carpark. Once you get more than a few hundred metres from the carpark/monument along the many public footpaths, the area is much quieter. Lots of dog walkers, but be prepared to bring a muddy dog home if you take one.
