        Nearby activities: Beautiful walks to be had in the Trough of Bowland. Ten minutes from the historic city of Lancaster and the same from the market town of Garstang. The village is beautiful, especially Lower Dolphinholme with its bridge over the River Wyre. Food & drinks: Great menu, including specials. Fine selection of local beers. Noteworthy details: The tiny gift shop and convenience store offers am amazing selection of local food, crafts, etc. Especially good for Dolphinholme honey.

        Best hotel room weve ever stayed in. Spent three nights here back in summer 2020 and we still talk about the mattress (a DREAM) the heated bathroom floors, the bathtub which actually fit my 62 partner, the pillows the duvet lol we could go on and on. Its such a random little place but my god did they invest in all the right things. Do yourself a favour and stay here
