My mother has been at Angelcare for over a year and is nicely settled. Around September she said to me "I give you my permission to put me in a home, when I am ready" - not equating Angelcare with a care home. The staff are constant and my mother gets on well with them, and is able to have a laugh and a joke with them. All the residents seem happy and well cared for whenever I have visited. Staff are very attentive to the needs of residents and also to the needs and concerns of their loved ones. They go out of their way to help. An example is when I am overseas, they call me on WhatsApp so that I can have a video call with my mother. The home is warm, clean and comfortable. There is a separate quiet room with the day's papers. My mum enjoys her food at Angelcare and they provide her with a vegetarian diet.

My husband spent six weeks at Angelcare Residential after being discharged from hospital having suffered from a major stroke. The care he received during his stay was excellent and the staff were exceptionally kind and considerate. The management team were very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile whenever possible. The home is spotlessly clean and well presented and offers a variety of activities. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Angelcare Residential to anyone needing compassionate care for a family member or friend.

I can't thank Thomas and his team enough. I had to find a placement quickly for an elderly relative who was recovering from a fall. She has been so well cared for and is now wanting to stay permanently. A huge weight off my mind. She enjoys the activities which are really well organised, she loves the food and is taken out several times a week for a walk which was the main thing she wanted to do. Thank you all!
