Called in with two friends who are ocals of the pub, after a day metal detecting. The Bread and Butter beer was 3 a pint in Happy Hour and was a well kept ale. We started off in the beer garden but ended up sitting by the bar. All the other customers were friendly and there was a good atmosphere. In addition to the fine ale there were also Brosters pork pies available, which were delicious. Unfortunately I was driving and had to limit my drinking to two pints and some soft drinks. The two attractive young ladies behind the bar provided friendly service, with a smile. I shall return here again
