I have been using this chemists services for around 14 years and I cannot speak highly enough of them! I not only consider the main chemist to be very professional but also caring and understanding beyond what I've ever experienced with any other chemist in my experience in England as I've lived up and down uk! They are very approachable and very efficient. I would go as far to say that though I don't socialise with the chemist I do consider him a friend but foremost a chemist who I trust implicitly with making sure that both myself and my partner who both have ongoing regular medical conditions which require repeat prescriptions are very much in good hands. Even if I get a new tablet he will always explain to me about possible side affects. I can't recommend them enough.

I don't usually write reviews, however, I feel so upset that I needed to share it. Kpharmacy has always been brilliant for my family & I, in the past, but prior to the Easter Bank Holiday my experience was one of anguish, desperation & disgust. My child had tonsillitis and was prescribed PenicillinV from the neighbouring GP practice. I was told there was none in stock (not the first time this has happened). They did not offer an alternative & I was advised to go elsewhere. I said excuse me what about the alternative (amoxicillin). (I work in the NHS as an Advanced Practitioner in Imaging. I also have extensive knowledge of antibiotics). Nonetheless, unless a GP OKd it they refused to provide an alternative which is against the Department of Health SSP to ensure medicines are available while the demand is high due to the rise in strepA & scarlet fever. The SSP apply to the PenicillinV so I was shocked that they refused to give an alternate medicine & I had no choice but to return to the GP next door. The GP agreed with me & immediately produced a new prescription. I returned to Kpharmacy only to be told that the new prescription was not there & they are closing!! So basically go somewhere else. I was left reeling as my child was ill & they couldn't & wouldn't wait 5 minutes for the prescription to come through to make up the amoxicillin suspension. The GP informed me it WAS done before their closing time albeit very close to 6pm. However, they ushered me out saying they are closing. I returned to the GP practice to inform them & the member of staff i spoke to was shocked too. I sat in my car & cried.i saw the pharmacy staff leaving 10 minutes later so they had time to make up the suspension!!! They simply did not care enough. If a patient needs my care in my role & its past my working hours. My colleagues & I don't mind staying behind for them. It's what we do as health care professionals. I ask you KPharmacy, if this was you or a member of your family, or your child, & you were in the care of my department how would you feel if I said no I'm not seeing you, I'm going home, it's Bank holiday!!! You'll have to go somewhere else. I imagine you would be disgusted & would no doubt put a complaint in!! Perhaps you should treat people how you would like to be treated and think of them as a member of your family. Would you stay behind 5 minutes for your families? Indeed you would! Not many people seem to care anymore & it's so saddening. Thankfully, my child received his medicine at another pharmacy !

Absolutely brilliant chemist. Kind, patient and knowledgeable. I have needed a certain medicine for months but it is hard to get so the chemist took time and found me some the very next day. Cannot recommend highly enough.
