        Dropped a pair of glasses off for repair on Friday morning. Received a text the same afternoon the repair was completed. Excellent customer customer service at reception and the glasses look brand new

        Great place! Lovely staff, a thorough eye test and ended up NOT selling me glasses, but advising me to keep with the ones I have for a bit longer. Not sure Id have heard that from the big chains? Very impressed, will go back.

        Whitakers made the process of buying my first reading glasses very pleasant. The helpful and friendly 'front of house' person, the efficient and informative optician and the extremely capable dispenser all made the experience smooth and easy. The premises are bright and attractive and there are several car parks nearby. I wish I had been some time ago.
