Totally unexpectedly so soon, I needed cataract surgery for both eyes and was advised it be conducted before my long arranged holiday 3 months later. Dr Musa was patient, reassuring, taking meticulous measurements to enable me to be able to see as well practical. Everything was explained in a user friendly manner. I needed deep sedation too, so remember nothing of the process, but recovery on each occasion was speedy and pain free and 12 hours after the first operation I was seeing without glasses (first time since I was 7). Today Ive been discharged, I only need glasses to thread a needle, ironic as thats all I could do without glasses before! Costa Rica was truly wonderful to experience and the wildlife and colours seen through my new eyes were spectacular. Thank you so much.

From Laurence, April 2023 For various reasons, my cataract problems had been left to become a more significant problem than they might have been. Once I had got to the point of dealing with my failing eyesight it was a great relief to be in Dr Musa's care. His assessment of the situation and plans to deal with me were reassuring and realistic. His confidence put me at ease throughout the procedures and he has a very friendly and engaging manner. At the end of it all, my eyesight is now better than I could have hoped for, and, particularly given the difficulties created by the fact that one of my cataracts had become so dense, which is further testament to Dr Musa's skills.

I have been a private patient of Dr Musa for nearly 10 years. I have Glaucoma in both eyes , he is incredibly professional and dedicated , he has saved my sight ! Vision is perhaps the most immediate and precious of all our senses, and for this reason, eye surgery is both terrifying and compelling in equal measure when it becomes impaired. I was referred to Dr Musa by my optician after developing cataract and double vision, in his words, the NHS is good, but Dr Musa is where I send family. This is possibly the best advice I have ever received. Dr Musa inspired confidence from the outset: I had a thousand questions, and he had a thousand well-reasoned answers as well as the patience to work through each one. He explained the lens replacement process clearly and reassuringly, whilst also elaborating the possible risks (as with any surgery) and benefits. I cannot fault his thoroughness and dedication to the principles of informed consent, it helped me more than I can say. This same level of diligence continued throughout my time with Dr Musa, and I greatly valued his confident reassurance and attention to detail before, during and after each procedure. Three months on, and having previously been short sighted, I can honestly say Dr Musas surgical work has been life changing. I am inexpressively pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend his expert care.

My optometrist introduced me to Dr Musa for removal of a large cyst in my eye. Dr Musa was professional, patient, and assuring throughout. He put me at ease and explained clearly the risks of the eye procedure at the initial consultation. He was decisive in changing his treatment plan even at the last minute when my eye condition changed. Professional, friendly, and getting me informed every step of the way.
