Fir Tree Farm Camp Site Rhodes Minnis

Second visit to Fir Tree Farm. Owner Debby very friendly and helpful during booking and on arrival. Excellent directions provided, some of the local lanes are very narrow so it's important to follow them. Entry to large field was straightforward in a motorhome, area with hook ups quite a distance from the entrance but each time we've been the field was dry. No toilet facilities as stated, just a tap and chemical disposal point. Field is off a lane and is very peaceful. We have just booked a 3rd stay as it is in a good spot for driving the last few miles to Eurotunnel.

Large level field adjacent to the farmhouse with masses of space between pitches. Cheery welcome from Debby, the owner. Walking opportunities through fields direct from the camp site, and in nearby woodlands. Unfortunately the grass was rather long during our stay. A very peaceful location, but shopping/dining options in the area are extremely limited.

We are actually local to the area but wanted a couple of nights away. The site was excellent - lovely, quiet, well organised and with a warm welcome from Debby it was just the job! Plenty of space between units. Even though we live less than 45 mins away we could have been 2+ hours away. Enjoyed the local Lord Whisky Tea Rooms. Overall the site and area is highly recommended.
