We took mother and father in law here for a meal for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. I'd rung and booked a table but needn't have bothered as there was plenty of room. My husband and I wash had a starter, I had the prawn cocktail and my husband had the chicken strips, for main 3 of us had a roast and husband had the pie, for desert my mother in law had some ice cream and my husband had a hot sponge of some kind I can't remember. All the food was delicious and piping hot. We had a bottle of wine and some beers between us and the bill came to around 120. Was very yummy. The pub is very old and is decorated accordingly and the service was fab. I didn't use the facilities whilst we were there.
