The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast

We were stunned after merely entering the foyer. The whole place is beautifully decorated, neat as a pin, and you really feel like you're in a high-class hotel. And when Lynn took us to our room, that happy feeling went through the roof. Our room was so spacious, with comfortable beds, places to sit, a huge bathroom with a bathtub. Our exciting final day of our Coast to Coast walk was actually tinged with a bit of sadness as we genuinely hated to leave the place! And a very special surprise about our stay was having to navigate two sets of stepping stones over the River Esk to get to the Horseshoe for Dinner. If you're coming back that way, you might wanna take it easy at the pub! Coasties all have to decide where to end their penultimate day, whether it's Glaisedale, Egton Bridge, or Grosmont. I heartily recommend Egton Bridge's incredible Old Mill.

We walked the ST Hildas way and the Old Mill at Egton Bridge was our last overnight stay. The rooms were excellent, great showers and comfy bed very clean.Lynn our host was very kind and helpful she even had a boot rack. The breakfast was fantastic we would definitely stay again. The setting of the old mill is beautiful right next to the river and stepping stones. Thank you Lynn
