Had a mid week break here. Lovely location with countryside views. Deer are often found at dusk in the opposite field. Breakfasts certainly set you up for a day of sightseeing around Cornwall, all parts of which are easily accessible from this base. Simon is a font of knowledge for best places too visit. A more relaxed and friendly host couple you couldn't wish for and another visit is definitely in the pipeline. My only ask is for a sign on the main road to make it easier to find for the novice! Simon and Jo are great hosts, accommodating, friendly, approachable and knowledgable. Beautiful view from the Pheasant room. Fantastic huge bed. Great choice of breakfast. Nice surprise when we arrived, a bottle of Prosecco. Great central location for visiting Cornwall. Padstow only 30 minutes away as was Daymer Bay. St Michaels Mount only an hour away. Will be hopefully visiting again.

Wonderful break! The super king bed was extremely comfortable. Owners live on site and provide the most attentive service and knowledge of the surrounding area. A great location near the Camel Trail linking Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow. We took our own bikes, but they do have bikes at the house. Offer a great breakfast menu, from full Cornish to locally caught kippers. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Simon & Jo... Will definitely return.
