Where do I start? This has to be the best pub in the UK. Honestly I cannot praise them enough! This is what a pub should be......the perfect country inn. The decor and ambience are perfect. From the minute you walk in and are greeted by both the staff and the locals you know you have found a gem. George the owner is the most wonderful, lovely host who takes the time to engage with his customers. He is such a gentleman. Now to the food.....simply put it is truly amazing!! It is high quality, locally sourced produce, cooked to perfection and consistently. This is what excellent looks like. The team here are superb. They are friendly, attentive, have excellent customer service with genuine care. If you are in the area and staying locally then give yourselves a real treat and come and experience this truly remarkable country pub....you will be talking about it for weeks after. Thank you
