        This is the second restaurant at the Runnymede hotel, located overlooking Bell Weir Lock. When we visited in December 2021 we enjoyed a fantastic high tea. The staff were fabulous and helpful, consistent with our entire Runnymede hotel experience. The Lock has an area for dining overlooking the river, and a more casual lounge area. Plus an outdoor area for summer. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic experience.

        Ate here as part of a stay at the hotel - lovely food, great portion size. I had the beef rib and it was absolutely delicious. The crumble was lovely too. Only suggestion for better service would be prompter removal of plates from previous courses - but this is nitpicking!

        We are a party of four school friends and attended the Loch bar for our first reunion in two years. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked. The service was wonderful. We intend to return sooner, rather than later. Thank you Runnymede for making our reunion so very special.
