Hands down the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. Walls extremely thin and door poorly fitted so you can hear everything. The man on reception was extremely uncaring and had poor communication skills in addition to being poorly turned out. I paid for Wi-Fi which was 7Mbps (slower than 3G), so had to switch to mobile data anyway. Paid for breakfast which arrived 2 hours late and was a bowl of soggy cornflakes with UHT milk and a stale bread roll (I was told on booking it would be an all you can eat cooked breakfast buffet). Toilet and shower were dirty, flakes of skin and hair in the bed. TV was tiny and audio very crackly and poor quality. View went onto a roof which had a dead, rotting bird on it. The paid for Wi-Fi network blocked access to the website used to pay for the parking, which was 15 in an underground Waitrose car park that is locked from midnight to 6am. The pillows were like concrete, but that didnt bother me too much as I didnt get a wink of sleep anyway. If you absolutely must stay here, dont bother with Wi-Fi or breakfast. Youd be better off paying the extortionate parking fees and sleeping in your car. Stay away from here unless you are an ex prisoner of war who fancies a bit of nostalgia!

Arrived early, room was ready. Asked if an iron was available, popped out for something to eat, returned to find iron and board in room. Asked about ordering a taxi for the following day, Travelodge phoned there and then and booked it for me. Fantastic service from Travelodge employee that day. Room was clean and location was quiet. Noteworthy details: Ideally situated on bus route from Heathrow Airport. Close to shops. Supermarket next door.
